RESIDENTIAL / VISITOR PARKING PERMIT - ONLINE APPLICATION


Each household within a designated parking permit area is entitled to:
2 Residential and 1 Visitor Permit - Application fee: $15 per permit
An additional 2 Residential permits may be obtained for $50 each

**RENEWALS** Please apply in the same month that your current permit expires.
PARKING PERMITS NOW EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE MONTH, ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.


Online payments are accepted using Visa or Mastercard



TO APPLY FOR A RESIDENTIAL PERMIT ONLINE, YOU NEED TO:

  • Be the registered owner or lessee of the vehicle
  • Provide a copy of a current ICBC insurance policy that shows your current address within a designated Parking Permit area on pages 1 and 2

    • If a leased vehicle: permit address must be noted on page 2 of your policy under "Location Address"

    • If a company vehicle and your name and address does not appear on the policy: please provide a letter on company letterhead confirming the name and address of the principle driver as well as the licence plate number, make, and model of vehicle.
  • Ensure your vehicle's Gross Vehicle Weight does not exceed 5,500 kg or is not defined as a "Recreational Vehicle"

Please note: 3 hours after applying, your licence plate number will be entered into the parking enforcement database, and you may begin parking on your street. We no longer require a vehicle registered in our system to display a "Residential" permit hanger.


TO APPLY FOR A VISITOR PERMIT ONLINE, YOU NEED TO:

  • Provide a copy of identification that shows proof of residency within a designated Parking Permit area
Please note: Within 10 business days, your new VISITOR permit hanger/sticker will be mailed to the residential address you provide.
This MUST BE DISPLAYED in order to park on your block.
